Tracy Stouse

Associate Attorney

Tracey Stouse, Esq.

Tracy Stouse is an associate attorney in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Alan Gordon Immigration. Ms. Stouse began her career as an immigration attorney in 2012 in the immigration clinic at the Latin American Coalition in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she concentrated on family based visa petitions, consular processing, applications to adjust to permanent resident status, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), waivers of inadmissibility, stateside provisional waivers and applications for naturalization. She has also worked as a solo practitioner and in private practice with another local firm.

Before practicing immigration law, Ms. Stouse worked for six years as an associate in the business law department of Kennedy, Covington, Lobdell & Hickman, L.L.P. in Charlotte (now a part of K&L Gates), where she focused on corporate finance and commercial lending. She also spent two years as a business law associate with the firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denegre in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Her interest in immigration and nationality law comes from being the daughter of a Panamanian immigrant. Out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenage girls and her dog Lulu. She also is an avid exercise enthusiast who loves running, yoga and hiking. She is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church where she serves on their Tithing Committee. She is also involved at Myers Park High School where she serves as Vice President of the Myers Park Field Hockey Club and is a part of the Student Outreach Committee.

Ms. Stouse is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, and was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 1997. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar. Contact Us
